On October 25th, Scion brought the tuners behind some of the best Scion FR-S builds to the Smog Shoppe in Los Angeles for a chance to show off their cars before they headed out to SEMA. We’re sure that the cars will be getting more than their fair share of publicity once they make it out to Las Vegas, but for many of us in attendance, this was our first chance to really see what the aftermarket community is capable of doing with a canvas as inviting as the FR-S.
Chris Basselgia, Daniel Song, and John Toca, the three men competing in the Scion FR-S Tuner Challenge, were there to unveil their completed builds after three long months of hard work in the garage. Joining them at the event were four other unique FR-S builds, created by Evasive Motorsports, Fatlace, Meguiars, and Cartel/MV Designs that were also making their debut at the party, giving us a look at what they have in store for SEMA.
We’ll be bringing you more updates once SEMA rolls around later this week, but in the meantime, be sure to take a look at some of our exclusive pictures from the Scion pre-SEMA party!
