Scion FR-S RC Racing Returns for the FR-S RC Challenge Presented by Viper R/C

Scion FR-S RC Challenge

We’re following up the success of last year’s Scion FR-S Cup by making it even bigger and better with the all-new Scion FR-S RC Challenge, presented by Viper R/C. Using an HPI Racing Scion FR-S body, competitors in the new series will test their RC car racing skills at 6 different events over the course of 2 months.

Similar to the Scion FR-S Cup, competitors will be divided into three different classes based on experience and skill level. Prizes will also be awarded to the winners of each series, which include gift certificates, merchandise, and most importantly, a trophy commemorating the achievement.

Each of the race events will take place at one of 3 tracks located around Southern California – Cal Raceway in the city of Orange, TQ Raceway in Chino, and Roadrunners RC Club Raceway in Camarillo. Registration for the Scion FR-S RC Challenge is FREE, however, there is a $15 fee per race that must be paid to the venue prior to participating in each event.

Race 1 starts Saturday, June 1, and will take place every other Saturday thereafter until the end of the series. Interested in throwing your hat into the ring? Visit the Scion FR-S Challenge page at the link below for more news and info.
