Most of our display cars are being cleaned up after being out at our 10th and final Scion Night at Knott’s Scary Farm yesterday, so we’ve only got one car out on display this week – the Scion xB DJ 2.0 built by Five Axis.
Five Axis is a frequent collaborator with Scion, having worked with us on countless concept and project cars including the Scion T2B concept, the Scion FR-S concept, the wide body Scion tC that was featured in a previous What’s Featured at Scion post, and the Scion xA speedster.
The Scion xB DJ 2.0 is covered in a unique coat of paint from BASF called Mixed Molten Lava Red, and lives up to its name by offering a mobile audio/visual experience. Debuting at the 2009 SEMA Show, the car features a full DJ set-up inside, complete with a miniaturized dance floor with flashing lights. A wide body kit gives the car a more aggressive stance, complemented by a custom 4-piece lip kit. Performance modifications are highlighted by a unique dual exhaust.
We’ll have another set of cars on display next week, so keep an eye out for What’s Featured at Scion!
