Ninja Tune Records was originated in London by audio-visual pioneers Coldcut. The label, which is renowned for spearheading trip hop, has since spawned hip hop sister imprint Big Dada, and the newly inaugurated Counter Records, to house the brazen psychedelica of Pop Levi. Ninja Tune and all the above have a satellite office in Montreal and an exponentially growing roster of artists to its credit. For over a decade and a half, Ninja Tune has stood fast at the edge of the Avant-garde in many circles, and continues to gain might. This first installment of Clockout Radio, brought to you by Ninja Tune, Big Dada, and Counter Records, features Pop Levi and his inaugural EP "Blue Honey" on Counter. Listeners are also given sneak previews at newer-than-new jams by artists such as Kid Koala, Bonobo, New Flesh, TY, Zero dB, Yppah, Coldcut, and more. Hour 2 is rounded out by Super Numeri's ultra-rare craft masterwork mix "The Enochian Way".
