Upon moving to Los Angeles Boston born DJ Wyatt Case began soaking up the rich musical and cultural aspects of his new home.Buying a used set of turntables he made a series of mix tapes that were dubbed for friends and Djing local house parties.In 1999 he was asked to join the Root Down Soundsystem where he was lucky enough to spin alongside influential legendary Dj Dusk and the Breakesta's Miles Tackett. He would also hold residency at popular Neo Soul spot Bounce Rock Skate for 3 years.In 2002 he joined the Heavyweights record pool and DJ collective.In 2002 he released the Japan-Only single "Get With It" featuring longtime friend Khalid on Soul Unit Records. In 2004 he released his first mix CD Eclectic Relaxation that was distributed worldwide thru Kajmere Music.In 2005 he contributed a Marvin Gaye Remix to the Reworked 4 CD released thru Concrete Grooves .Known as a versital DJ who can mix up anything from hip hop to house and everything in between he currently holds down 3 residencies a week as well as a variety of special events. Music Man Miles is a true musician. He plays electric bass, upright cello, guitar, drums, the SP 1200 drum machine, sings, and produces for the world renown band, Los Angeles-based group, The Breakestra. With production credits including T-Love's "Return of the B-girl EP" and writing credits on Macy Gray's first release, Miles also promotes and DJs LA's Rootdown, a 9-year old dance party. His latest nightlife venture is his Saturday night party "Funky Sole" at Star Shoes in Hollywood, where he plays soul and funk alongside DJ Egon and Cut Chemist. Although, DJing and promoting are addictive hobbies of Miles', he is currently in a "12 inch-step program". 2005 proved to be one of Miles' busiest years yet, with a new original Breakestra 45 released called "Show and Prove" on his own Rootdown Records, as well as producing Breakestra's 3rd album "Hit the Floor", which he and the rest of the group are currently promoting on an international tour for Ubiquity Records.
