College Graduate Rebate

To celebrate your smarts, between May 1st, 2009 and March 31st, 2010, qualifying graduates can get a $1,000 rebate towards the purchase or lease of a new Scion when you finance or lease through a participating Scion dealer [1] and Toyota Financial Services (TFS) [2].

In order to qualify you need:

Prove that you have graduated recently or will graduate soon [3]

Prove that you have a job lined up [4]

Have collision insurance [5]

12 month/12,000 mile Roadside Assistance included [6]

No money down and no monthly payments for the first 90 days (with finance contracts) [7]

Waived security deposit (with lease agreements)

In all of those states, the $1,000 College Graduate Rebate must be used as a down payment on retail installment contracts or as a capitalized cost reduction on lease contracts with Southeast Toyota Finance. Southeast Toyota Finance will issue a reimbursement check of $1,000 to the dealer for each College Graduate Rebate issued (one rebate per College Graduate Program customer only). Customers must graduate from an accredited four-year college or university within the next six months; graduate within the next six months from an accredited two-year college or registered nursing degree (diploma) program; or be enrolled in an accredited graduate degree program. Verifiable proof of college graduate status is required at the time of purchase. Offer expires 03/31/10. This offer is subject to credit approval by Southeast Toyota Finance. All other terms and conditions of the Southeast Toyota Finance College Rebate Program apply.

[2] Rebate is offered by Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. On finance contracts, rebate will be applied towards the down payment. Program available on approved credit to qualified customers financing new untitled Scion vehicles through participating Scion dealers and TFS. Not all applicants will qualify. One rebate per finance transaction. Finance contract must be executed from May 1, 2009 through March 31, 2010. Program may not be available in all states and is subject to change or termination at any time... Some restrictions apply.
[3] To qualify you must show proof that you have either: graduated from an accredited four-year college, university, or registered nursing degree program during the last two years or will graduate from such a school/program within the next six months; graduated from an accredited two-year college during the last two years; or prove that you are enrolled in an accredited graduate degree program or have received a degree from an accredited graduate degree program during the last two years.
[4] To qualify, you must show proof of present employment or proof of future employment, with a start date within 120 days of your purchase. TFS must deem your salary sufficient to cover living expenses and vehicle payments.

[6] Roadside Assistance administered by Cross Country Motor Club or Cross Country Motor Club of California for Toyota Financial Services. Roadside Assistance services are available for Scion vehicles that are financed or leased under the College Rebate Program and are included for one full year from the contract date. The toll-free Roadside Assistance number is 1-866-322-3968.
[7] First payment may be deferred for the first 90-days (only available on up to 60-month terms); finance charges accrue from contract date. Deferred payment not available in PA or in connection with the preferred option finance plan.

Minor credit lapses may be allowed. Obligations paid within 60 days or less of the due date and only non-credit related charge-offs (e.g., rent, utilities, health club membership, etc.) of less than $250 are acceptable. Other restrictions apply. See your dealer for details.
