
LES is as much a coming-of-age tale as it is an homage to a legendary American neighborhood: the Lower East Side. A young man from the L.E.S. is faced with difficult life choices while being pulled by the conflicting influences that populate his colorful home turf.
Max Perlich was born in Cleveland, Ohio. His mother was a teacher and his father, Martin Perlich, a writer, a radio programming director, and a radio announcer. Max Perlich's career began with a small part in Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986), shortly after he dropped out of the tenth grade. He has also acted in Gummo (1997), Blow (2001), and many other films. Along with continued work in film, Perlichhas had recurring roles in numerous television shows.
