Eligibility:  Contest is for Scion vehicles only that are entered in the Scion Exposed Event, to be held in Sarasota, FL on May 2, 2009 (hereinafter the "Event"). Only one entry per eligible vehicle.  Entrants must be legal residents of the United States and at least eighteen (18) years or older at time of entry.  Entry deadline is 12:00 p.m. on May 2, 2009. Employees of Southeast Toyota Distributors, LLC ("SET"), its, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, content providers, advertisers, advertising agencies, promotional and marketing agencies, and any other companies involved with or otherwise providing services related to this contest (and their immediate family members and those living in the same household) are ineligible.

How to Participate: Contest show car participants that register a Scion vehicle and complete the entry information at the contest, or online at www.scion.com/exposed, will be entered in the following contests: "xA Mild," "xA Wild," "xB Mild," "xB Wild" "xD Mild, "xD Wild," "tC Mild," "tC Wild," "Best JDM Class," "Best Display," "Best Paint," "Best Engine," and "Best of Show." Eligible vehicles can only win in one (1) of the above categories.

Awards: A total of fourteen (14) trophies will be awarded based on Judges evaluation of the criteria set forth below.

All taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the Winner(s).  Winner(s) must submit proof of valid driver's license. In the event that the Event is postponed or cancelled, Sponsor reserves the right to postpone or cancel this contest without further notice. 

Winning Criteria:
Best of Show – Entrants will be judged 15% on neatness and attention to detail including under-hood, chassis and interior areas; 35% on the creative use of the vehicle of any parts including but not limited to, bolt-ons and dealer installed body kits, accessories and the amount used of such, and 50% on the overall visual appeal of the Scion including the use of paint and/or graphics images. Winner will be deemed to be the overall best Scion vehicle in the Event.   

Mild- For each Scion class (xA, xB, xD, tC) there will be a winner. Entrants in each class will be judged 50% on creativity and 50% on exterior modifications, such as suspension, body kit/lip kit, show quality rims, shaved door handles, antenna, moldings and headlight conversions.

Wild- For each Scion class (xA, xB, xD, tC) there will be a winner. Entrants in each class will be judged 50% on creativity and use of bolt-ons and after-market accessories; and 50% on the overall visual appeal of the Scion model including the use of paint and/or graphic images, wide-body, head/tail light conversions, and right-hand drive.

Best Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) Class – Entrants will be judged 50% on cosmetic exterior and 50% on interior conversion.  Any aftermarket parts should be JDM aftermarket parts and should enhance the vehicles performance only. Considerations: difficulty of converting the specific vehicle to JDM OEM specs; rarity of the parts; attention to details of the conversion; age/condition of vehicle and parts used for conversion; vehicle should be true and accurate to JDM OEM specs.

Vehicle must not contain any mismatch OEM parts. Interior and exterior aftermarket parts should serve to enhance the vehicle's function.

Best Paint - Entrants will be judged 50% on the use of creative use of paint, decals and/or graphic images; and 50% on the visual appeal of the exterior of all Scion models.

Best Display - Entrants will be judged 100% on how their Scion reflects the owner's personality by any means including, but not limited to, the use of bolt-ons and after-market accessories, graphics, and other modifications.

Best Engine - Entrants will be judged on the following: 30% on dress-up accessories such as wire loom or color silicon hosing, uniform throughout the entire engine compartment; and 40% on modifications or additions made within the engine compartment done neatly and organized; 20% on a theme that is followed throughout the interior/exterior flow into the engine compartment; and 10% on cleanliness.

Best Pirate Themed Costume – Landlubbers will be judged 50% on their scurvy ways, Doubloun and Pirate's Booty; and 50% based on me hearties Sue S & Michael K's overall evaluation.

More Conditions: No responsibility is assumed for lost, late, illegible or misdirected entries. By participating in this contest, you agree that the decisions of the judges are final and binding in all respects.  Winners will be announced on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at the Event at approximately 5:00p.m.  Winner(s) must be present to win. 

Winner(s) may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Publicity/Liability releases, within five (5) days of Event. The information in Winner's Affidavit of Eligibility must be correct and must mirror the information provided in Winner's entry or Winner may be disqualified. Acceptance of Prize constitutes permission to use the Winner's name, address, photograph, testimonial or other likeness and/or prize information for promotional, advertising and/or publicity purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.   If a selected Winner is disqualified, fails to claim prize, fails to comply with all rules, the prize will be deemed forfeited and another Winner will be selected from among the eligible entries by random drawing.
