Ian Lynam is a designer and writer living in Tokyo, Japan. His writing has been published in Idea, Art in America, PingMag, and in numerous graphic design books. His most recent book is Parallel Strokes, an inquiry into the correlation of graffiti and typography. He is the co-founder and editor of Néojaponisme, a critical cultural journal focused on Japan. Lynam operates a multidisciplinary design studio that focuses on pan-cultural identity design, motion graphics, editorial design, and apparel graphics.
