Voice was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, and has been writing graffiti from the first day he saw the hip hop inspired art done by a local Denver b-boy back in 1985. He was 12 years old when he copped his first tag as "Cool Cat" with a paw print and a Stacy Adams shoe print next to the words. In 1992 Voice and Phaze3 (also of Denver) started the Sun Will Shine crew that has now grown into a small, closely knit family from San Francisco to Boston and many places in between. According to Voice, the mystery behind graffiti was the catalyst for getting paint into his hands. "I wanted the persona of this mysterious artist creating art in secret without permission and changing the whole feeling of an area from sterile to lived in," he says.

It was not until 1996 when he truly knew what it meant to be an all out bomber. It was then that he met a band of writers from Boston: "Alert" "Perl" "Helzor" "Area" and "Case." The experience helped him accelerate in art and in school. Voice's professional accomplishments have mostly been community based projects. He currently curates Revoluciones Collective Art Space in Denver and spray painted a mural for a Denver Children's Museum exhibit, organized and participated in a group installation for the Boulder Museum of Modern Art. He has also created backdrop murals for bands like Pennywise, The Pharcyde, Common. Voice thanks God and his family including his crew "Swek One," "Wyse," "Skape," "Erupto," "Regal," "Omni," "Crae," "Dime," "Gouls," "Area," "Alert," "Diet," "Amed," "Sae," "Mune," and "Gates."
