Spaceships, Letters and Life forms

Seak creates three-dimensional aerodynamic letters that reflect his own character. Presenting them as innovative abstract logos, he draws inspiration for example from early arcade games (such as R-type 2), Star Wars, the novels of Henry Miller, the architecture of Zaha Hadid, historic themes and contemporary pop culture. He developed his impressive style up to now on canvas, murals and installations. Creating his own parallel universe he encourages the viewer to participate in his fascinating work.

He is one of the most influential urban artists of his generation. His self-propelled 'typo-drones' have appeared on numerous walls around the world and his works in spray can, marker, pen, paintbrush and airbrush have been exhibited in both the urban environment and galleries in Europe, Australia and the US.

Winkler was born 1974 in Cologne, Germany, where he still lives and works.
