There’s a lot that happens behind the wheel of a Formula Drift car, but it’s just as important to have a set of eyes watching everything that’s going on outside of the car as well.

Episode 5 of Driven to Drift explores the relationship that Tony Angelo, Fredric Aasbo, and Ken Gushi each share with their spotters, and how that translates to performance on the track. Both the TAngelo Racing and Need for Speed teams fell victim to a string of bad luck, partially contributing to their early exits at Round 5. However, Ken and the GReddy Racing team submitted their best finish yet, making it all the way to the top four.
