SEMA 2010 – Scion Tuner Challenge Winners Announced 31 January 2011, 5:23 pm

Scion announced today the winners for its annual tuner customization challenge.  The “Scion Tuner Challenge” pits three car tuners against each other to see who can design the best custom Scion.  This year, three Tuner Challenge veterans were chosen to modify the all-new 2011 Scion tC.  Each was given the car and $15,000 cash with just 12 weeks to build their concept.

Third place was awarded to James Lin and his gold wide-body tC.  Second place was John Pangilinan’s race spec tC whose design will be the basis for the 2011 Need For Speed drift tC.  Shawn Baker and his Cement Grey tC took home first place, a giant trophy and a check for $10,000!
