Robert Stout and the Lucas Oil KSR Scion FR-S at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course 24 September 2013, 11:00 am

Robert Stout

Robert Stout’s first year piloting the Lucas Oil KSR Scion FR-S has been challenging at times, as the team continues to fight their way through the Pirelli World Challenge GTS class. However, they’ve made considerable progress in the short time they’ve been campaigning the vehicle, with the highlight of the season perhaps being their performance at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

There, Robert’s immense skill and driver’s intuition came up huge, as he deftly avoided a crash that occurred right in front of him to get his FR-S off to a fantastic launch. For his efforts, he was presented the Best Standing Start Award for the event. Check out the video to see in-car footage from the race, and be sure to check back in for more updates on Robert and the KSR team.
