We’re excited to announce that we’ll be making a return trip to the 14,115 foot summit of the Boradmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb this year with Ken Gushi back behind the wheel of the 2013 GReddy Racing Scion FR-S! Ken has participated in the hill climb several times during his professional driving career, the last two years as the driver of the Lexus IS F CCS-R. This year, he’ll be racing his former drift car through PPIHC, competing in the Time Attack 1 Division.
Pikes Peak is one of the most demanding motorsport events in the world, requiring complete focus from drivers as they tackle each of the course’s 156 turns over 12.42 miles. To handle each of those corners, the GReddy Racing team is retuning the suspension of the FR-S for a grip setup, something they’ll need to take on the other production based vehicles in their class.

This year’s hill climb takes place on June 29th, and we’ll be bringing you more news and info as the event draws nearer. In the meantime, be sure to check out some of the highlights from Scion Racing’s last few trips to the top of mountain.
