5 Different Cars To Make Your Labor Day Weekend A Bit More Fun

It’s time (unfortunately) to send summer a farewell, and as we do it’s no better time to get into your Scion and enjoy the Labor Day holiday weekend with a bit of driving. And just a head up, we’re running the Labor Day Special with 90 day deferral on your first payment for a limited time so check that out!

No matter where you go or how far or close the destination, each one of our Scions make the journey that much more enjoyable, but we do have some suggestions depending on the model you own. Here are 5 different Scion’s to make your weekend a bit more fun.

Scion iM

On this long weekend, we’re excited to see where people are going to take our new sporty 5-door hatchback. Released this past Tuesday with the iA, the Scion iM would be well-suited for a trip out to a resort, perhaps taking your friends to the local park to play some basketball (there’s plenty of storage room for luggage) or getting the family to the beach or an amusement park. I mean, check out what Eddie Huang, the mind behind ABC’s Fresh off the Boat, did with the iM. Get a full walkaround of the Scion iM here.

Scion iA

Our other brand new release, the Scion iA is our first sedan in the Scion family and a great bargain considering all the standard features it’s equipped with. We could see this being the perfect getaway car for a big music festival fitting five of your closest friends to enjoy the experience; the cabin is plenty roomy including the trunk with 15.5 cubic feet of space. It’s also equipped with a proper audio system controlled through a 7” touchscreen display. Also the EPA-estimated 33 city and 42 highway MPG rating help you avoid the gas station for a 2nd stop on the way to the venue. On the flipside, once it’s time to settle back into reality—school perhaps? It’ll be a comfortable ride to campus before it’s time to hit the books. Check out the full walkaround of the Scion iA here.

Scion FR-S

In a sporty coupe like the Scion FR-S, it’s not so much taking the normal route to the destination but taking the more adventurous way. Even if your weekend involves spending time at a quiet resort, there are usually many alternatives, some offering twists, turns and long stretches of scenic road for you to experience what the rear wheel drive FR-S is capable of.  Thrill-seekers, we have the perfect alternative: there should be a handful of local high performance driving events for all experience levels, so you can really turn loose and shake off some stress before heading back to the office next week.

Scion tC

Maybe you’re more of a stay-cation type—no worries, the Scion tC coupe can still make local drives around town fun and sporty. Lay down the 60/40 split folding rear seats to fit your BBQ grill plus party necessities and cruise in style to the park while you blast your Bluethooth-connected music through the rich 8-speaker sound system.. Or wait for nightfall, the cool evening breeze will feel great as you’re sprinting around in the tC with the windows down and the moonroof open

Scion xB

We know what you’re thinking—outdoor fun. Our oldest Scion family member, the Scion xB can provide all the cargo room necessary for getting you out to the wilderness, and will keep the drive energetic, no matter if it’s a quick trip to the desert or a multi-state park.

Where do you plan on going this weekend with your Scion? We’d love to hear your ideas in the comments below!
